At the arrival of the season's herald, I inquired as to the character of the chapter following this year's vernal equinox (2024). Three cards drawn:
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
4 OF PENTACLES
STAR
The three tarot presented may be interpreted as a continuing narrative, or as triads (outmost/local/innermost, beginnings/conflicts/reminders, etc). It is worth noting in relation to Star that Eltanin flickered in the evening.
WHEEL OF FORTUNE - FATE/LUCK/CYCLES/REBIRTH
An INEVITABLE change of the seasons. The equinox signals another quarter-turn of the great wheel, and the return of balance from a fiery summer. The pendulum continues to swing, but for now it appears to rest at center.
As much as the INEVITABLE is reflected in this card, there is an element of LUCK in it as well. She cherishes the bird, reading the stories of migration written in its feathers and quills. She knows that chance has brought it to her, and she capitalizes on it.

4 OF PENTACLES - MISER/MATERIAL/RESOURCE STRUGGLE/TIGHT GRIP
The MISER warns her - hold on too tightly to that precious chance and it will disintegrate or slip away. Whatever you hold must still change, if change is resisted the thing will be destroyed.
Interpersonal struggle requires this same lesson to resolve. The two who fight are resisting change, holding onto their own inner wealth but requiring more from the other. GREED.

STAR - INSPIRATION/HOPE/HEALING/PASSION
With these in mind, STAR reminds us to look forward and find inspiration in change. The fire and passion will return once the routine of change is established.
